John Mc Cormack is an experienced law enforcement leader with a strong background in crisis
management and security for major events and infrastructure.
His skills in planning and implementing security measures for large gatherings are recognized. He is an expert in rapid response to threats, with extensive experience in complex domestic and international investigations.
As a strong collaborator with private sector and government agencies, John holds a Top-Secret National Security Clearance and served as a detective at the FBI/NYPD Joint Terrorism Task Force.
Throughout his remarkable career, John represented the NYPD in a high-level interagency counterterrorism team with federal, state, and local agencies, including FBI, Homeland Security, and Secret Service.
He was an active NYPD Detective on a 20-person Crisis Management team, conducting threat assessments and developing security plans for major NYC events. He served as liaison between the FBI Terrorism Task Force and NYPD and conducted executive briefings on emerging threats.
John created workgroups to enhance interagency cooperation and has been recognized with the FBI Director’s 2016 Award of Excellence for contributions to high-profile events.
He has been Deputized Special U.S. Marshal and is adept at tactical and strategic leadership, influencing stakeholders at every level.
